#AD Oh, how a sofa can transform a room! With our high ceilings and majority glass in this space, we were in need of some cosy comfort, but I really wanted something that would reflect our personality and style. Comfort is key! Think deep seats and high backs, where you can sink in and put your feet up, but most importantly entertain. Style was just as important to me! I really wanted our furniture to mirror our style and taste which is classic, contemporary and a little boho thrown in. Investing in key pieces is a mantra that we live by and something that is timeless is especially important. Quality was another essential for me, so I had to go to dfs. Their wooden frames are made to last and the cushions on this sofa are of from the highest quality - the foam cushions bounce back to keep their shape, whilst still allowing me to sink into it, which I absolutely adore! Our family of 6 have craved a fabric sofa for years, and we finally took the leap of faith… it’s time to set some new sofa rules! I use the blankets as a multipurpose function - adding texture, warmth... and protection! I can say I am very, very happy with the result. This is the Dukes Left Hand Facing 3 Corner 1, in the Regent Chenille fabric and oyster colour. It’s from the TedBaker range which is exclusively available at dfs. The legs and trim are in a dark wood and I love the interest that these details give the sofa. The armrests are a huge part of the design of this sofa, they are so distinctive and I think they really make the sofa stand out from the crowd, but in an understated way. The Dukes sofa works perfectly in this room as it maximises the space. We can fit 8 people on the sofa comfortably, and it creates a new calm and relaxing zone in our open plan living area.
